Compliance

We strictly maintain the compliance requirements according to the Local Law as well as the standard requirements for EU, USA & AUSTRALIAN Market. We have very strong and dedicated Internal Compliance team in our Group and also have separate team in this unit for daily routine check of the factory. Compliance officers are well educated in local Labor law, Company law, as well as environmental law. They are also trained in Wages & Benefit policy, Health & Safety policy etc.

COC/SAFETY AUDIT:
  • Fire, Electrical & Structural Integrity Assessment audit done by VERITAS ENGINEERING & CONSULTANT on behalf of ILO & BANGLADESH GOVERNMENT.
  • Our Factory is approved / Certified for BSCI.
  • Our Factory is approved / Certified for SEDEX.
RECRUITMENT POLICY:

We maintain personal file for all workers and staffs with their full Bio-data and necessary particulars. The factory always arrange attendance card, makes record of working hour, salary statement, leave record, disciplinary action, etc.

FORCED LABOR:

We do not have any practice of use forced labor whether in the form of prison labor, indentured labor, bonded labor or otherwise.

CHILD LABOR:

We are totally discouraged to use child labor. No person is employed here at an age of below 18 years which is strictly restricted in our Industry.

HARASEMENT OR ABUSE:

Every employee is treated with the respect and dignity. No employee is subject to any physical, sexual, psychological or verbal harassment or abuse.

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

We provide safe and healthy working environment to prevent accidents and injury to health arising out of linked with or occurring in the course of work or result of the operation of employer facilities.

WAGES AND BENEFITS:

We are giving high priority to pay employees Salary & overtime within 7th day of the following month to meet their basic needs. We pay salary & overtime on the basis of minimum wage fixed by local government. We also pay other benefits as required by our local law.

LEAVE AND OTHER FACILITIES:

We treat all the workers are valuable asset for the Company and that is why provide all kind of benefits like- maternity benefits, two festival bonus, yearly increment with monthly salary, attendance bonus, and financial support to the employee in accordance with the recommendation by the Social Welfare Committee.

HEALTH & HYGIENE:

Our factory is lighted well with sufficient Energy saving bulb with reflecting shade and also have tube lights & natural flow of air. All floors are well ventilated and well furnished with sufficient hygienic toilets. Toilets are cleaned and flashing with sufficient quantity of tap water, workers are provided with pure & safe drinking water.

DOCTORS ROOM/MEDICAL CENTRE/DAY CARE CENTRE:

We have all the arrangement for medication to employees. We have recruited trained Medical Officer, trained Nurse and have a Day care Centre with necessary First Aid along with all required emergency medicine. In case of critical/serious issue we are arranging treatment of patient in better hospital.

SAFETY FACILITIES/FIRE FIGHTING:

We have two specious stairs where workers can easily move the factory. Besides, we are setting ‘Fire Door’ for both of the exits according to current standard requirements. We also have full range of Fire fighting equipments and training people by Fire Inspectors/officers time to time. Aisles are properly marked and always keeping clear to move easily.

WORKPLACE TEMPERATURE:

Floors are well ventilated by installing sufficient numbers of Exhaust Fan & Chilling Fan. Workers can work in cool atmosphere.
